Scratchey Dunkey
- 1 chicken, boiled, boned and cubed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can water
- 1 can evaporated milk (large)
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small jar pimentos, drained
- 12 oz. egg noodles
- salt, pepper and garlic powder
- bread crumbs
- grated cheese
- Boil the chicken until done; then debone and cube.
- Cook noodles in chicken broth and drain.
- Brown onion, celery and bell pepper in butter.
- Add all together in casserole dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top before baking.
- May add grated cheese to top about 5 minutes before removing from oven, if desired.
