Savory Sausage Rice

  1. Brown sausage in large skillet; pour off excess fat.
  2. Add green pepper, onion and 1 cup celery; saute.
  3. Combine soup mix and boiling water in large saucepan.
  4. Stir in rice.
  5. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
  6. Add sausage mixture and salt.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Pour into a greased baking dish, 12 x 8 x 2-inch.
  9. Sprinkle remaining celery over top.
  10. Drizzle with melted butter.
  11. Bake in moderate oven, 375u0b0, for 20 minutes.
  12. Makes 10 servings.
