Pasta With Shrimp And Wine

  1. In a saucepan, cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil until tender, but not brown.
  2. Stir in wine, bouillon granules, basil, salt, pepper and red pepper (optional).
  3. Bring to a boil gently, uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes, until liquid is reduced by half.
