Christmas Cobbler With Pear 'N Cranberries

  1. Heat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Grease 9-inch baking pan.
  3. In medium saucepan, combine first three ingredients.
  4. Stir in cranberries. Heat to a boil; reduce heat.
  5. Simmer 5 minutes or until cranberries pop open.
  6. Stir in pears.
  7. Pour into pan.
  8. Combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar.
  9. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  10. Stir in oats; mix well.
  11. Add egg, mixing until moistened.
  12. Crumble evenly over fruit.
  13. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
