Debbie'S Butterscotch Cheese Bars
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 14 oz. can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0 (325u0b0 for glass dish).
- In medium saucepan, melt morsels and margarine.
- Stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half the mixture firmly into bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
- In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
- Beat in milk, vanilla and egg.
- Mix well.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Top with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool to warm temperature.
- Chill before cutting into bars.
- Refrigerate any leftovers.
