Seafood Spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. sliced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp. parsley flakes
- butter
- 2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) minced clams
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- cooked spaghetti (I use 3 c. broken pieces for this recipe)
- butter
- 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- Saute onion, garlic and parsley in butter until tender.
- Drain clams and shrimp, reserving liquid so you have enough for 1 cup, or add water to make 1 cup.
- Combine cornstarch and liquid, stirring until blended.
- Add to butter and onion mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Stir in clams and shrimp; heat to serving temperature.
- Cook spaghetti; drain.
- Toss hot spaghetti with small amount of butter and Parmesan cheese (use additional cheese, if desired).
