Five Minute Banana Pudding
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 2 c. milk (not 3)
- 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 5 to 6 bananas
- 1 large box vanilla wafers
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 13 oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Melt sugar in a heavy skillet until golden brown.
- Pour into a 1-quart souffle dish and tilt it immediately to coat the bottom and sides with caramel.
- Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually, until thick and pale.
- Heat milk, add flavorings, then slowly pour into egg mixture.
- Gently pour into caramelined dish and bake in a pan of hot water at 325u0b0 about 1 hour or until set.
- Chill, then unmold.
