Lyle'S Chili Con Carne

  1. Stir and brown off meat in skillet or open saucepan; drain off any fat or water that renders out.
  2. Add onions and celery to the meat and stir.
  3. Cook until the vegetables are clear.
  4. In a pot, add all the ingredients together; cover and cook over low heat, the slower, the better (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
  5. Perhaps it would be better for guests to add cayenne pepper to their taste when served. Serves about 8.
