O.T. Appetizer

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, egg yolk, mustard, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the olives, onion and cheese.
  3. Pour sauce on top; mix until blended.
  4. (Mixture can be made a day ahead and refrigerated. Just stir before spreading.)
  5. Put squares of rye bread on a cookie sheet and run under the broiler of your oven until lightly toasted.
  6. Remove from oven; turn them over.
  7. Spread vegetable-cheese mixture on top of bread to the edge so bread won't burn.
  8. Return to broiler (about 3 minutes) until cheese is somewhat melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve.
