Strawberry Pie

  1. In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Stir in washed strawberries and water.
  3. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook and stir 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in food coloring. Chill 30 minutes or until mixture is slightly warm.
  6. Fold in remaining berries.
  7. Pile into pie shell.
  8. Chill 2 to 3 hours.
  9. In small mixing bowl whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  10. Sprinkle pudding over cream and beat until stiff.
  11. Pipe around edge of pie or dollop on individual slices.
