Banana Nut Bread

  1. Grease loaf pan.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar until light.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Stir in bananas. Sift together the dry ingredients.
  5. Add to banana mixture.
  6. Mix until well blended.
  7. Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  8. Bake in moderate oven (350u0b0) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until tests done. (The riper the bananas the longer the baking time, up to an hour.)
