Inside Outside Ravioli
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or broccoli
- 1 (1 lb.) can spaghetti sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. or 2 c. medium shell or elbow macaroni
- 4 oz. sharp Cheddar or American cheese (1 c.)
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- Brown first 3 ingredients in a large skillet. Cook spinach or broccoli and drain, reserving liquid. Add water to make 1 cup. Add spinach or broccoli liquid, salt, pepper, chopped spinach or broccoli, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and tomato paste to meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Combine spinach or broccoli with macaroni and remaining ingredients. Spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
