German Chocolate Pecan Pie

  1. Melt
  2. chocolate
  3. and
  4. butter
  5. in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Bring sugar and corn syrup
  8. to
  9. boil
  10. in
  11. separate
  12. saucepans
  13. over high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  14. Reduce heat and boil gently 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  15. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate mixture, pour slowly over eggs, stirring constantly. Stir in vanilla
  16. and nuts.
  17. Pour into pie shell.
  18. Bake at 375u0b0 for 45 to 50 minutes,
  19. or
  20. until
  21. filling
  22. is completely puffed across top. Cool and garnish with Coffee Topping.
