Taco Soup
- lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- Morton Nature's Seasons (sprinkle for taste)
- 3 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can black beans
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans (one light, one dark)
- 1 (16 oz.) can white hominy
- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
- El Patio tomato sauce to taste
- Brown ground beef.
- Add onion.
- Add Nature's Seasons and garlic.
- Rinse when no longer pink in colander under hot water. Put in crock-pot, along with canned beans, taco mix and green chiles.
- Add tomato sauce to taste.
- (It's hot; you may want to start with about 2 ounces.)
- Cover; cook on low all day.
