Easy Lasagne Casserole(Doris Kmiec, Brenham, Tx)
- 3 c. uncooked egg noodles (hint: 1 c. noodles = 2 oz.)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.
- Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until ground beef is brown.
- Drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce mix.
- Cook until thickened. Drain noodles.
- Combine cream cheese and evaporated milk in warm saucepan until smooth.
- Stir in noodles and garlic salt.
- Pour into 9-inch square baking dish.
- Spread meat mixture over.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 6 servings.
