Herb-Bran Muffins

  1. Stir together the flours, baking powder, salt, sugar, sesame seed, dry mustard and herb of choice.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bran cereal and the milk.
  4. Let stand 2 minutes.
  5. Add the egg and butter or margarine, blending well.
  6. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
  7. Coat a 12-muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray or line with muffin cups.
  8. Fill each 2/3 full with muffin mixture.
  9. Bake at 400u0b0 for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.
