Chili

  1. Heat
  2. olive oil; add ground meat.
  3. Sear over high heat, stirring
  4. constantly,
  5. until meat is gray.tdd water and cook covered at a bubbly simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Add all remaining ingredients,
  7. except
  8. flour and meal.
  9. Cook another 30 minutes at same
  10. bubbly simmer.
  11. Next add thickening mixed with 1 cup cold water.
  12. Cook 5 minutes longer to determine if more water is needed for desired consistency.
