Baked Lasagna
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups tomatoes
- 2 6-ounce cans tomato paste
- 1 10 ounce package lasagna noodles
- 2 12-ounce cartons large curd cream style cottage cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 16 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
- Brown meats slowly.
- Drain off grease.tdd next 6 ingredients to meat.
- Simmer until thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles until tender.train.tinse in cold water.
- For lasagna combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients.
- Place 1/2 of noodles.
- Add 1/2 mozzarella cheese and 1/2 meat mixture. Repeat layer.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Serves 8.
