Cathedral Window Cake
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. flavored miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- Cream margarine, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
- Add flour and salt and beat until smooth.
- Put in a 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes.
- Cool.
- Melt chocolate and margarine in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Stir in sugar and eggs and beat until smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Fold in marshmallows and nuts.
- Spread over cookie base.
- Chill 2 hours. Cut in bars.
