Meat Balls And Sauce
- 1 lb. ground meat
- salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 slices bread
- 1/4 c. evaporated milk
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- garlic salt to taste
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 small can tomatoes
- Mix together first 7 ingredients and form into balls.
- Brown in hot fat.
- Saute chopped onion, celery and bell pepper together with garlic salt.
- Add small can of tomato sauce and sugar.
- Cook until deep red.
- Add small can of tomatoes and cook over low heat for 2 hours or longer.
- Add water if sauce becomes too thick.
- Add meat balls and cook 30 minutes.
- Serve over spaghetti.
