Crusty Cheese Rings

  1. Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. Combine flour and butter.
  3. Cut butter into flour until slightly smaller than peas.
  4. Mix in cream and vinegar with fork.
  5. Stir in cheese, distributing evenly; form dough into ball.
  6. Roll dough out on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
  7. Cut into rings, using doughnut cutter.
  8. Place rings and centers (holes) on ungreased baking sheet 1-inch apart. Chill for 30 minutes.
  9. Brush tops with egg white.
  10. Sprinkle with additional cheese.
  11. Bake at 450u0b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
