Savory Pork And Apple Stir-Fry

  1. Prepare rice pilaf as package directs, substituting 1 cup water and 1 cup apple juice for water.
  2. Cut meat into 1 1/2 x 1/4-inch strips.
  3. Toss with combined seasonings.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Saute meat 3 to 4 minutes until no longer pink.
  6. Add apples and stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until apples are almost tender.
  7. Add combined 1/3 cup apple juice and cornstarch.
  8. Stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes until thickened to form glaze. Stir in nuts.
  9. Top rice with pork or chicken mixture.
