Aunt Juanita'S Lasagna
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 1 chopped onion
- garlic powder
- 2 lb. can tomatoes
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
- 16 oz. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 lb. Provolone cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Brown sausage.
- Brown meat with onion and garlic powder. Combine meats with tomatoes, sauce, water and spices.
- Simmer for 3 hours.
- Remove sausage and slice.
- Cook noodles.
- Layer in a 13 x 9-inch pan, alternating sauce, noodles and cheese.
- Top with sausage, then cover with sauce.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for one hour.
