Meatball Subs

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a bowl. Shape into 24 meatballs.
  3. Arrange meatballs evenly on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes or until done. Turn oven up to 450u0b0.
  4. Combine meatballs and pasta sauce in a medium saucepan. Place over low heat until sauce is warm, stirring often. Keep warm.
  5. Hollow out center of each hoagie roll. (Reserve soft bread for another use.) Spoon 6 meatballs into each roll. Spoon sauce evenly over meatballs. Top each sandwich with onion and 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese.
  6. Arrange sandwiches evenly on a baking sheet. Bake at 450u0b0 for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
