Grilled Asparagus, Beef & Blue Cheese Salad
- 3/4 cup Wish-Bone(R) Italian or House Italian Dressing, divided
- 1 pound boneless sirloin steak
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 4 large shallots, halved, or 1 medium onion, quartered
- 2 cups your favorite salad greens
- 1 container (4 oz.) blue cheese crumbles
- Pour 1/4 cup Wish-Bone(R) House Italian Dressing over steak in large shallow nonaluminum baking dish or resealable plastic bag. Cover, or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
- Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill or broil steak, asparagus and shallots, turning once and brushing frequently with 1/4 cup Dressing, 15 minutes or until steak is desired doneness and vegetables are tender. Let steak stand 5 minutes, then thinly slice. Toss shallots and asparagus with remaining 1/4 cup Dressing in medium bowl.
- Arrange salad greens on serving platter, then top with steak, asparagus, shallots and cheese.
