Pasta With Broccoli

  1. In large saucepan, cook broccoli in boiling unsalted water until tender (2 or 3 minutes).
  2. Rinse under cold water.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In another large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Lightly brown garlic.
  5. Add parsley, oregano, chicken broth and wine.
  6. Simmer 3 minutes.
  7. Cook pasta of your choice according to package directions.
  8. Drain and place in large heated serving bowl. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil and grated cheese and toss well.
  9. Add broccoli to warmed sauce and toss.
  10. Calories 300 and fat 6 g. Serves 4 to 6.
