Sweet 'N Sour Pork
- 3 c. lean pork, cut into 1/2-inch squares
- 2 large green peppers, cut into large chunks
- 2 medium onions, cut into large chunks
- 2 c. pineapple tidbits, drained (reserve juice)
- 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, halved
- 1 c. reserved pineapple juice (plus water if needed)
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 jar sweet and sour sauce or pkg. sweet and sour sauce, mix according to directions
- Brown
- pork in 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Add 1/2 cup water and simmer 1/2

- skillet along with green peppers, onions, 1/2
- teaspoon soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Saute lightly. Add cooked pork, pineapple tidbits, maraschino cherries, pineapple

- brown
- sugar,
- cornstarch, cider vinegar
- and sweet and sour sauce.
- Bring to boil.
- Simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with rice.
