Baked Chicken Breasts
- 1 pkg. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- salt
- pepper
- Accent (optional)
- small sliced onion
- 1 can drained mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 small green pepper, sliced
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Pound chicken breasts to same width to prevent uneven cooking.
- Spray 2-quart casserole dish with Pam. Arrange breasts in casserole, add salt, pepper and Accent.
- Cover breasts with sliced onions, peppers and mushrooms.
- Add lemon juice.
- In a small bowl, mix soup with 1/2 can water; use more if you would like a gravy.
- Pour over ingredients and top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour.
