Gourmet Pork Chops

  1. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  2. Brown in hot oil over medium heat.
  3. Drain.
  4. Place in casserole.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Stir onion and garlic into drippings.
  7. Cook.
  8. Add wine and stock.
  9. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
  10. Saute mushrooms in butter.
  11. Add mushrooms, thyme and bay leaf to skillet.
  12. Pour wine sauce over chips.
  13. Cover.
  14. Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  15. Remove bay leaf.
