Apple Crisp
- 6 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands Lemon Peel
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- Topping
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Mix apples, lemon juice, lemon peel, brown sugar and cinnamon together. Spoon into 8 x 8-inch greased, shallow baking dish. Set aside.
- Mix butter, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake at 375u0b0F 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm.
