Baked Bananas
- 4 bananas, peeled
- Lemon juice
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- Whipping cream (optional)
- Dip bananas in lemon juice; arrange in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins and pecans. Combine sugar, syrup, and water in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until bubbly. Spoon syrup over bananas; dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes. Serve warm with whipping cream, if desired.
