Mike'S And Other'S Famous Chili
- 3 lb. ground sirloin
- 10 oz. can Campbell's French onion soup (not creamy)
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder (fry with hamburger)
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- few drops of Tabasco sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (15 oz.) can Yorktown Great Northern beans (undrained)
- 1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans (undrained)
- 1 (15 oz.) can light red kidney beans (undrained)
- 2 (15 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, mashed or 1 qt. home canned tomatoes
- 2 medium onions, diced (1 in crock-pot and 1 fried with sirloin)
- 3 medium stalks celery, cut up (fry 1 with sirloin)
- 2 c. cut spaghetti, boiled and drained
- Fry ground sirloin, 1 onion, 1 stalk celery and chili powder in skillet until almost done.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Then mix in crock-pot with rest of ingredients.
