Strawberry Freezer Spread

  1. Combine half of crushed strawberries, the lemon juice, pectin and salt in large saucepan.
  2. Bring to full boil; boil hard 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in remaining strawberries.
  4. Add gelatin to water in a small saucepan; let stand 5 minutes. Dissolve gelatin over low heat.
  5. Mix dissolved gelatin and Sugar Twin into strawberry mixture; cool slightly.
  6. Put mixture into freezer containers, leaving 3/4-inch space at top for fruit to expand; cover.
  7. Store in freezer.
  8. To thaw, place containers in fridge for 24 hours before using.
  9. Use within 10 days of thawing.
