Hungarian Goulash(Crock-Pot)
- 2 lbs. stew meat
- Flour for dredging
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 c. water
- Cooked noodles OR cooked rice
- 1/4 c. flour
- Dredge the meat in flour and brown it in the Crock-Pot. Cover with the onion.
- Combine the garlic, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika and mustard.
- Stir in the water and pour the whole mixture over the meat.
- Cook on Low for 8-9 hours. Turn control to High.
- Add the 1/4 c. flour to the 1 c. water and mix well.
- Stir into the meat mixture.
- Cook on High 10-15 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Serve over noodles or cooked rice.
- Serves 5-6.
