Peanut Butter Swirl Bars
- 1/2 c. crunch style peanut butter
- 1/3 c. softened butter
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle semi-sweet real chocolate morsels
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large bowl combine peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar; beat until creamy.
- Gradually beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; blend into peanut butter mixture.
- Spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle real chocolate morsels over surface.
- Place in 350u0b0 oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven; run knife through to marbleize. Return to oven.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Cool; cut into 2 x 1-inch bars.
- Makes 4 dozen.
