Creamed Chicken A La King

  1. Boil cut up chicken in water to cover in a large pot for 35 minutes.
  2. Remove skin and discard.
  3. Refrigerate cooked chicken pieces and put giblets into pot with chicken juice and simmer. Chop celery and onions (hopefully in a food processor).
  4. Sliver green peppers.
  5. Put vegetables into pot.
  6. Add poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  7. Cook on moderate heat for an hour with the giblets.
  8. Remove giblets with slotted spoon and cool, then dice finely.
