Aunt Frances' Chocolate Pie(Best In The World!)
- one baked pie crust
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. Drostees cocoa (use only Drostees, or else!)
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. milk
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp. real vanilla
- whipped cream
- chocolate curls
- Mix the sugar, cocoa, flour, cornstarch, salt and milk in large cooking pan.
- Stir over medium heat until thick and smooth. Turn off heat.
- Mix a cupful of the pudding with the beaten eggs. Return cup of pudding to pan; heat again for 8 minutes, until all is cooked through, stirring constantly.
- Turn off heat.
- Melt the margarine and real vanilla in pudding.
- Pour into baked pie shell and cool.
- Top with real whipped cream and chocolate curls.
