Three Layer Chocolate Squares
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. light cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 (9 3/4 oz.) candy bar or chocolate chips
- Melt 1/2 cup sugar; add cocoa, 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, egg, 2 teaspoons vanilla, graham cracker crumbs and pecans.
- Mix and spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Melt 1/4 cup butter. Combine cornstarch and 2 teaspoons sugar; add to butter and blend. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 cups confectioners sugar.
- Blend and spread over 1st layer.
- Melt chocolate; spread over cream filling. Cool; cut in 1 inch squares.
- Makes approximately 9 dozen.
