Pretzel Salad
- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
- chopped pecans (if desired)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 2 c. pineapple juice
- 10 oz. frozen strawberries
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 envelope Dream Whip, prepared as pkg. directions
- Mix pretzels, melted margarine and 1/2 cup sugar.
- Press in 10 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Dream Whip.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- Dissolve Jell-O in pineapple juice.
- Add defrosted strawberries and juice in separate bowl.
- Let stand until partially set, then pour over cream cheese and chill.
- If desired, chopped pecans can be added to pretzel crust.
