Ribbon Loaf
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce (unsweetened)
- 18 double graham crackers
- 1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix
- 3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar (10x)
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- Put Jell-O in separate bowls (dry).
- Add 3/4 cup applesauce to each bowl.
- Stir until blended well.
- Place two double crackers end-to-end on rectangular platter.
- Spread lime mixture (1/4 cup) on crackers.
- Place new cracker layer on top.
- Spread strawberry mixture (1/4 cup) on new cracker.
- Repeat layers (fairly thin) until end with cracker on top.
- Prepare topping following directions except omitting vanilla and adding sugar and extract before beating.
- Top, then chill at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
- Serves 12 to 14 people.
