Cauliflower Oriental
- 1 medium head cauliflower, broken into pieces
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- dash of pepper
- Place cauliflower and water in 2-quart casserole dish.
- Cook in microwave covered on Full power 8 to 10 minutes.
- Let stand covered.
- Combine onion, celery, parsley and butter in 1-quart dish.
- Cook on Full power 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
- Stir halfway through.
- Dissolve bouillon in water; blend in cornstarch, soy sauce and pepper.
- Pour into onion mix.
- Cook on Full power 2 minutes or until thick.
- Stir halfway through cooking time.
- Drain cauliflower.
- Place in serving dish.
- Spoon sauce over.
