Oatmeal Scotchies

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
  5. Beat until light and fluffy.
  6. Gradually add flour mixture.
  7. Stir in oats and morsels. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 375u0b0 for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crispy cookies.
  9. Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
