Pineapple Dream Cake
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Mazola margarine
- 1/4 c. Mazola corn oil
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. milk
- Pineapple Filling
- 1 c. heavy whipping cream
- Grease two 8-inch layer pans.
- Line bottoms with waxed paper. Sift together first 3 ingredients.
- Set aside.
- Stir in next 3 ingredients together.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Blend until smooth. Add vanilla. Stir in flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture, mixing until smooth after each addition.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes or until cake springs back.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Remove and cool on racks. Split cake layers in half. Spread between layers with filling.
