Cheese Souffle

  1. Butter bread with 2 tablespoons butter, place upside down in 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish.
  2. Saute onions, mushrooms, green and red pepper, ham or bacon bits in 2 tablespoons butter.
  3. Sprinkle over bread.
  4. Dust cheese with flour and sprinkle over.
  5. Whisk eggs, add milk, salt, pepper and parsley.
  6. Pour over bread.
  7. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Bake, uncovered, 35 minutes until fluffy and brown at 375u0b0.
  9. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
