Old Fashioned Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
  2. Sift dry ingredients alternately with all other ingredients.
  3. We were never given any temperature but 325u0b0 to 350u0b0 and time according to size pans used. It was always baked in iron skillets in layers.
  4. I make mine in loaves.
