Festive Seven-Layer Gelatin Salad

  1. Dissolve lime Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water.
  2. Add 1/2 cup cold water.
  3. Pour into sprayed 13 x 9-inch glass casserole.
  4. Bring milk to boil in a saucepan.
  5. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Add unflavored gelatin which has been dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water.
  6. Add sour cream and vanilla and beat until blended.
  7. Cool. When lime Jell-O is set, pour 1 1/2 cups of white mixture over. When white layer is sticky, add red Jell-O, prepared in sme manner as the lime.
  8. When set, add another 1 1/2 cups of the white mixture.
  9. Follow with lemon layer.
  10. Top with final white layer.
