Lasagna(Makes 3 Casseroles, 6 Servings Each)
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 1/4 c. boiling water
- 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 eggs
- 2 lb. (4 c.) creamed cottage cheese
- 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Cook noodles according to package.
- In large skillet, crumble beef and cook until slightly browned.
- Add onions and cook until tender.
- Drain off fat; add oregano, salt, garlic, parsley, water, tomato paste and tomato sauce.
- Simmer 5 minutes.
- Blend eggs and cottage cheese.
