Herb Batter Bread(Low-Fat Recipe)

  1. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish or a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan generously with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour mixture with yeast from foil packet, wheat germ and spices.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Stir in hot water, honey, oil and egg until well mixed (batter will be sticky).
  5. Spread in sprayed casserole dish.
  6. Spray piece of plastic wrap with cooking spray.
  7. Cover batter loosely with sprayed wrap and cloth towel.
  8. Let rise in warm place for 45 minutes or until light and doubled in size.
  9. Heat oven to 375u0b0. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from casserole dish.
