Strawberry Banana Dessert
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 c. (1 pt.) Borden whipping cream, stiffly whipped (or use Cool Whip)
- 1 pt. fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced
- 2 bananas, sliced and dipped in real lemon juice
- 1 (10 3/4 oz. to 12 oz.) prepared loaf pound cake (or use angel food cake)
- additional strawberries and banana slices
- In large bowl, combine sweetened milk and water.
- Add pudding mix; beat well.
- Chill 5 minutes.
- Fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip, then strawberries and bananas.
- Line side and bottom of 3 1/2-quart glass serving bowl with cake slices.
- Spoon pudding mixture into prepared bowl.
- Cover; chill.
- Garnish with additional strawberries and banana slices.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
