Chocolate Bavarian Pie
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1-2/3 c. Pet milk, divided
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- graham cracker crust
- Hershey bar
- Soften in a 1-qt. saucepan the gelatin in cold water.
- Stir in sugar, cocoa and salt.
- Stir over medium heat until gelatin and sugar dissolve completely, about 5 minutes.
- Don't boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in 1 c. Pet milk.
- Chill in small bowl until firm.
- Beat in with mixture at low speed until mixture is broken up.
- Add 2/3 cup Pet milk and the vanilla.
- Beat at high speed until mixture fills bowl.
- Let stand a few minutes or until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon.
- Heap into a graham cracker crust.
- Shave a Hershey bar over the top.
- Chill.
